Kimberly Emanuel

Quadruple Amputee and Sepsis Survivor

Kimberly Emanuel is a retired educator, mother of two adult daughters, and a wife of 29 years. Her family has also grown to include three precious grandsons. Kimberly has a passion for plants and gardening, which not only brings her joy but also serves as a great source of exercise. She travels with her husband in their RV, finding delight in camping and connecting with new friends they meet during their journeys. In 2021, Kimberly became a quadruple amputee after surviving septic shock caused by an infection from kidney stones. She now uses her platform for public speaking, advocacy, and raising sepsis awareness. Kimberly is patiently waiting for a service dog and is thankful for being healthy enough to travel and spend time with her family.
