In this sponsored session, learners will review the challenges posed by antimicrobial resistance (AMR), the basics of antimicrobial stewardship, and the important role that nursing plays in responsibly managing the growing threat of AMR. The presenter will also explain the principles of blood culturing, including best practices for blood culture collection and how blood culturing is an important diagnostic tool to support antimicrobial stewardship.
